Jenna and Carly have over 20 years of combined hospitality experience, across all aspects of a kitchen / business / function.
Living and working on the Bass Coast, we met in our first jobs - as dishies at the Kilcunda General Store. Fast forward a few years and between us we’ve owned, managed and taken on head chef roles in the little cafe by the sea that we called home.
In 2021 we stepped away for a new challenge, and to do something of our own. Copper Door Kitchen was born from the lockdown periods of crazy cooking, planning and experimenting time in Jenna’s Mum (Ida’s) kitchen - in the house with the big copper door.
We thought we were starting a local catering business, but soon realised that we are a team who love to plan parties! So when planning the details of your event, we’re looking forward to it too, and care about it like it’s our own.
When organising an event with us, ‘Jenna and Carly’ will be on the end of the phone call, the face at the door, and the regards on the email - but Copper Door Kitchen is more than that. We are mothers and daughters, friends that have lasted long summer hours in a hot kitchen for over a decade, and a team of faces that are excited to work together every day. We really love what we do, and hope that our passion inspires the vision for your special event.
